Donte is a professional potter and ceramics educator based in Sacramento, CA. He was trained by Yoshio Taylor, and his work blends traditional forms and techniques with modern Greek aesthetics, and often involves intensively researched and developed glaze surfaces. Through his YouTube channel (Earth Nation Ceramics) Donte has created an online community of over 100,000 followers and become one of the foremost online teachers of pottery and ceramic art. He teaches in-person courses through local businesses in Sacramento and the surrounding areas and has been working to help anyone interested in clay begin or further their journey in this art form.
Donte also co-hosts the podcast The Mud Peddlers: Ceramic Art Behind the Scenes with Lindsay M Dillon.
